We are not going away.

Despite the bigotry and hatred expressed by voters, politicians, pundits, and self-appointed moral arbiters, there is a substantial portion of the population that believes in progressive values.

We believe that society is a big tent that should offer equal rights and equal opportunity to all: gay or straight, black or white or yellow or red, Christian or Muslim or Buddhist or atheist or Hindu, man or woman - everyone everywhere.

We have struggled so long; we will not give up now. We have suffered setbacks before. Some of us have died along the way. Some have gone to prison. Some have simply suffered.

We will never give up.
